Job Description

We are hiring an interim HR Generalist to oversee the US and Canada business units for one of our customers in Suwanee, GA. This person will heavily support onboarding initiatives, with processing 150+ employees in the new year. Accuracy of pay and Payroll expertise in this HR role is also a critical focus. We are seeking someone who is savvy with HRIS (ASP, Oracle, WFM) for reporting, etc., and research-driven. Union knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with other HR team members to identify priorities and develop an established site HR strategy aligned with the site’s needs.
  • Implement local programs to drive improvements in employee engagement, development, and retention.
  • Manage employment life cycle processes from hire to retirement from the company.
  • Champion the new hire orientation program.
  • Maintain HR records, Oracle, and ADP, by entering and maintaining all employee data.
  • Identify innovative strategies to optimize HR processes.
  • Assess compliance needs for the site, including required statutory/regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department in all areas of human resources administration, recruiting, benefits administration, orientation, compliance, and other HR related tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Assist with maintaining and enhancing employee relations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1-3 years in an HR Generalist role
  • Extensive experience in onboarding a high volume of employees
  • Savvy with HRIS (ADP, Oracle) and reporting functions
  • Payroll knowledge: Experience in payroll processing and issue resolution

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Union understanding: Knowledge of union requirements, reporting, and compensation
